The Crisis

This is a chemical distribution company providing chemicals to a wide range of industrial customers. The business had sustained losses due to a large customer resourcing and was unable to regain a sufficient amount of new sales to cover overhead and expenses. Due to these lower sales, there was insufficient cash to pay bills and trade debt. Creditors were able to secure several judgments and several legal attachments were pending against the company’s assets.

  • Negotiated the purchase of certain company assets from the appointed receiver which allowed the company to continue in business
